Shannon Ferry

Shannon has been riding horses for nearly all of her life. Shannon is a co-owner of the farm and is the director of the HF Lesson Program.

Shannon is an experienced instructor and has taught a variety of lessons and students: children to adults, beginner to advanced, western and english, performance and pleasure. Shannon has trained with Karen Douglas and Bill Ritchie of Sterling Pointe Farm. She shows horses that she trains locally and at other New England shows such as the Greater Manchester Horse Show and the Deerfield Fair.

Providing focused, quality lessons is important to Shannon. Her approach to teaching is to understand the goals of her clients and to work together in developing a plan to meet those goals. If you want a fun lesson, you've got it, laughing all the way. If you want to be pushed hard, watch out!

Her experience, compassion, confidence, and ambition is reflected through the strong relationships she has with her clients and with their horses.

Lessons

Haskins Farm offers a wide variety of equestrian instruction including English and Western Pleasure, Saddle Seat, Dressage, Halter, Equitation, Showmanship and Hunters/Jumpers.

We welcome all riders regardless of age or experience level.  Our program is suitable for those looking for weekend fun and also for serious riders looking to ride the 'A' circuit.
